Sumanguru is literally leading a whole army of demons in there and it looks like a total nightmare.

Right now Bruce and his buddy Doctor Voodoo are sneaking around the Soul Cage trying to find a special weapon. They originally went down there to get tools to fight another bad guy named the Infernal Hulk who took Bruce’s powers earlier. But sadly they walked straight into a trap with this brand new monster blocking the way.
A Deadly Game of Riddles
Getting past a giant demonic Hulk is not exactly easy so Bruce has to get super creative. The comic actually ends with Bruce challenging the monster to a high stakes game of riddles to settle things. He really hopes his brains can beat out all that crazy new brawn.
The Huge Cost of Losing
This game is definitely not for fun because the stakes are incredibly high for everyone involved. If Bruce wins the game Sumanguru has to leave his new strong body behind forever. But if Bruce loses the riddle challenge then the demon gets to keep Doctor Voodoo as a prize.
Sumanguru Has a Very Dark Past
This villain was once just a mortal kid who made a shady deal with a witch for magical lessons. He got so powerful that he started stealing the lifeforce from his victims to take over their bodies and live much longer. He even ruled a giant empire at one point in his crazy life. Eventually Doctor Voodoo came along and locked him away in the Soul Cage for good.
Bruce Can Never Go Back
Even if Bruce somehow wins this riddle game and gets the huge body back he cannot actually use it. Bruce recently found out he is permanently immune to gamma radiation so the classic Hulk life is over for him. He will literally have to find someone else to step up and take over the legendary identity.
Earth Has a Massive Problem Now
The last thing the heroes on Earth need right now is another demonic monster building up power in the background. The Eldest is already out there causing chaos as the Infernal Hulk and it is a total mess. If Bruce fails his intelligence test then this second evil Hulk is going to become a massive headache for everyone.
